Geting started with Cell Phones


Understanding this technologies infrastructure is critical to using this platform for cell developlment. I have started my search of good web links to use as resources. I found a good one today that I like for its comprehensiveness and relavance. Cellular Basics has an excellent page on some infrastucture fundamentals. it is technical and it is mostly a discussion of hardware and radio frequency but still a very good resource for basic information on cell phone technology. "The number of computers using mobile broadband technology to access the Internet grew by 154 percent in the 4th quarter of 2007 versus the same period in 2006, according to comScore, a research firm. comScore, which measures online behavior, said the total number of computers going online through mobile broadband technology grew to 2.1 million from 854,000."
